Thursday 15th December – 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Leavers Assembly (Early Finish)
Friday 16th December – 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Last Day at the Lido Aquatic Centre
Monday 19th December – 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Please arrange for all tamariki to be dropped off and picked up from the Lido. There is no cost for tamariki. Lunch will be provided. Please remember a drink bottle, togs, and towel.

Reminder – Ngā Iti Rearea Kapa Haka Performance this Friday 9th December
Tue Dec 06 11:00amWe invite all of our whānau to attend a performance from our kapa haka ‘Ngā Iti Rearea’ this Friday, 9th of December, at 2:00 pm in the hall.
Our kapa haka will perform their bracket from the regional competition for our whānau and hapori (community), Nau mai haere mai!
ALL of our tamariki who have committed to Ngā Iti Rearea this year will be performing.

Thu Nov 17 01:49pmPlease be advised that our teachers have a paid union meeting on Friday, 25th of November. Therefore the school will be closed for instruction at 12:45 pm. Please arrange your tamariki for an early finish on that day.

Tue Nov 15 08:58pmCongratulations to all students who are playing or helping out in tomorrow Ki o Rahi Super Sport event. Please see team list below.
Monrad are hosting this event and all students are asked to be at school by 8:15am. Meet on the fields by the gazebo.
Whakatau – 8:30am. Games to start at 9:00am and finish at 2pm
Please wear PE uniform. Students will play barefoot. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Lunch will be as per normal in their classrooms.

Tirohanga Bakes sales for this week

This week for sale are bags of Chocolate Chip cookies, Caramel Afghan biscuits and Rocky Road. Both cookies and Rocky Road are selling at $5 a bag. We are also offering Gingerbread Men a bag of 4 for $8 along with our mixed boxes of 4 cupcakes (vanilla and chocolate flavoured – 2 plain iced, 1 with strawberry drizzle and one with caramel drizzle). These are selling for $8 a box. First in, first served, to order the limited number of cookies, cupcakes and slice. Please send your order through via the following email address: tbakes@monrad.school.nz
Your order will be confirmed and you will then need to make payment via school internet banking using the following code: 0314, plus your surname and reference of either cookies or cupcakes before the following Wednesday. Can you please also add a contact phone number. You can also pay by cash to the office using the same information above. We will update the parent app advising when all available product has been ordered.

Super Sport Athletics 2022

Monrad Tirohanga Super Sport Athletics 2022.
Date: Term 4. Week 7, Wednesday 30th November.
Trials will be held at school in Week 6. Wednesday 23rd November.
Students may enter 3 events and one relay. (2 track and 1 field or 2 field and 1 track).1500m is Open and is not included in the 2 track events.

Camp Update- Urgent
Thu Nov 03 07:32pmWe are now just a week away from Camp Week and are waiting for a large number of overdue Final Consent/Medical Forms to be returned to the office. These are urgently needed for our planning. They should be filled in and sent to school on Monday or emailed directly to the school office.
Full and final payment for camp is now also due.
